“Raven on branch” from the “Fogged glass” series was juried into “The Crow Show: An Homage To The Raven” produced by The Studio Door. Crows fascinate humans, and this show explores that fascination. The juror was Jenna S. Jacobs, Curatorial Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.
The dimensions and format of my artwork, “Raven on branch” heralds a departure from my previous work –– 18 x 12” image printed on archival canvas, acrylic coated and framed in wood. No glass! As is usual, I printed the piece as an edition of one –– one original, no copies. See below for a photograph of the framed piece.
The exhibition is split between two venues. My artwork is displayed at the San Diego Art Insitute – North Park, 3830 Ray Street (one block from 30th and University) from February 2nd to 27th, 2015. Please check the SDAI website for exhibition hours. The opening reception is on Thursday, Feb 6th between 6:00 and 9:00 pm.
